Our Mission
Bogd Lodge was founded on the belief that nature and hospitality can thrive together. Every stay contributes directly to the propagation of native larch, birch, pine and spruce saplings in our on‑site tree nursery. By 2030 we aim to establish 40,000 trees with an 85% survival rate. We work closely with Bogd Khan National Park to restore trails, remove invasive species and recycle fallen wood into new habitats. This is more than an escape; it’s a pledge to Mongolia’s natural heritage.
Our Story
Bogd Lodge is the culmination of a family’s love for nature, travel and conservation. After spending 18 years living and working in Canada, our founders returned to Mongolia with a vision: to create a sanctuary that honours Bogd Khan Mountain’s ecological and cultural significance. Inspired by national parks like Yellowstone, Yosemite and Kananaskis, we combined the comforts of a boutique hotel with the spirit of a conservation project.
Our team includes hospitality professionals, environmental scientists, horticulturists and local guides. Together we are dedicated to providing guests with an authentic, restorative and meaningful stay. By choosing Bogd Lodge, you become part of our story—one rooted in respect for land, community and future generations.
Your Stay Plants a Tree
Every booking contributes directly to the propagation of native larch, birch, pine and spruce saplings in our on‑site tree nursery. We aim to establish 40,000 trees by 2030 with an 85% survival rate. When you stay at Bogd Lodge, you help fund seed collection, sapling care, volunteer planting days and long‑term maintenance. Together, we are building a forest for future generations.
